The Uprising: Power vs. Force

In today’s society, the lines between the community and law enforcement are drawn clearly. Once those lines are crossed, things can get drastic. Many times the ones that are here to protect are the ones the people end up needing protection from. From bullet wounds, to baton blows, to choke holds this country has witnessed the bloodshed of thousands over the years. The result of that bloodshed has come with deadly results.

Cliff Brown is the direct witness to some of those most recent results. As the owner of 411 Magazine, he is the sole person who gets the only exclusive of the police beating of 25-year-old LeRoy Hughes. This beating causes uproar throughout the city of Trenton NJ, thanks to the video footage posted online by 18-year-old Krystal Smith. A trial is set immediately for the four police officers involved, which ends in a miscarriage of justice. That injustice will cause the city to ignite in a fit of rage. In the midst of that rage, Krystal Smith is caught in the crossfire that nobody will see coming, besides the ones behind the trigger.
After a near fatal shooting, Cliff Brown will use all of his power to enlist in the help of two cops that have grown up in the city to bring the dirty badges to justice. Will the case be re-opened? Will the four policemen be brought to justice? Or will they find a way to get away with the bloodshed they have caused?
